SUBMICRO, SINGLE AND DUAL OP AMPS WITH INTERNAL VOLTAGE REFERENCE OPERATE DOWN TO 1.4V
SUNNYVALE, CA-February 26, 2004-Maxim Integrated Products
(NASDAQ: MXIM) introduces the MAX4036-MAX4039, the industry's smallest submicro op amps with and without an integrated reference voltage. The MAX4037 (single) and MAX4039 (dual) feature a 1.232V ±5%, 80ppm/°C (max) voltage reference capable of sourcing 100µA and sinking 20µA. These devices operate from a 1.8V to 3.6V supply, while consuming only 1.9µA of supply current at 1.8V. The MAX4036/MAX4038 (single and dual, respectively) operate down to 1.4V and consume only 800nA per channel without a reference.
Available in TDFN and µMAX packages, the MAX4038/MAX4039 are ideal for applications where power consumption and space are an issue. The MAX4036*/MAX4037 are available in tiny 5-pin SC70 and 6-pin SOT23 packages. To maximize a system's performance and operating duration, all devices are guaranteed to operate to the end of battery life of two NiMH, NiCd, or alkaline batteries (1.8V).
Other op amp features include a common-mode range from ground to VDD - 300mV, outputs that swing Rail-to-Rail®, ultra-low current inputs with less than 10pA of input current, precision-trimmed 200µV input-offset voltage, and unity-gain stability with up to 5000pF of capacitive load.
Prices for the MAX4036 (single without a reference) and the MAX4039 (dual with a reference) are $0.39 and $0.74, respectively (50k-up, FOB USA).
