SMALLEST AND MOST ACCURATE 16-BIT 32-CHANNEL DAC
SUNNYVALE, CA-February 25, 2002-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX5631/MAX5632/MAX5633, 16-bit 32-channel voltage output digital-to-analog converters (DACs) available in 68-pin QFN (10mm x 10mm) and 64-pin TQFP (12mm x 12mm) packages. These new devices represent the smallest and most accurate 32-channel DACs available in the industry at any resolution. The MAX5631/MAX5632/MAX5633 integrate a single 16-bit DAC, on-chip RAM, internal clock, sequencer register, and 32 channels of sample-and-hold amplifiers to provide within 0.03% of the full-scale output.
Features such as 32 channels of integration, a tiny 10mm x 10mm package, and 0.03% accuracy make these DACs ideal for applications such as automatic test equipment, industrial process control, and optical control electronics such as MEMS servo control, laser characteristics control, and optical amplifiers.
