10V/µs, RAIL-TO-RAIL I/O OP AMPS IN ULTRA-SMALL SC70 PACKAGE
SUNNYVALE, CA-July 30, 1999-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4490 op amp with 10V/µs slew rate, housed in the miniature 5-pin SC70 package. Perfect in applications that demand the smallest board area possible, the package measures only 2mm x 2.1mm and occupies less than half the board area of a SOT23-5.
Rail-to-Rail® inputs and output increase flexibility and dynamic range, and simplify circuit design for applications powered from a single +2.7V to +5.5V supply. The combination of fast slew rate, miniature packaging, and low-voltage operation makes this op amp ideal for portable applications ranging from RF power amplifier control to audio amplifiers.
The MAX4490 achieves a 10MHz gain-bandwidth product, while consuming only 800µA of supply current. Other features include a low 50pA input bias current and a 2k ohm drive. Sample/hold and ADC predriver circuits benefit from a capacitive load driving capability of 200pF.
