210MHz, SINGLE-SUPPLY OP AMP PACKED IN ULTRA-SMALL SC70 PACKAGE
SUNNYVALE, CA-August 12, 1999-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4450 210MHz, low-power single-supply op amp available in the ultra-small SC70 package (half the size of the SOT23-5). The combination of single-supply operation, Rail-to-Rail® outputs, and wide bandwidth in an ultra-small package makes this op amp ideal for a variety of wideband applications for the consumer market, including set-top boxes, surveillance video systems, digital cameras, and CD-ROM drives.
This amplifier operates from a single +4.5V to +11V supply or from dual supplies of ±2.25V to ±5.5V. It requires only 6.5mA quiescent supply current, while achieving a 210MHz -3dB bandwidth, a 485V/µs slew rate, and a ±80mA output current drive.
In addition, the MAX4450 offers 0.1dB gain flatness to 55MHz, low differential gain/phase of 0.02%/0.08°, and a spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of -65dBc at 5MHz. Its input common-mode range includes ground, and its outputs swing rail-to-rail, suiting the MAX4450 for low-voltage single-supply applications.
