620µA, 3V/5V, SC70 AMPLIFIERS ACHIEVE 200MHz -3dB BANDWIDTH

 
 

SUNNYVALE, CA-February 26, 2001-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4452/MAX4453/MAX4454 and the MAX4352/MAX4353/MAX4354 620µA, 200MHz op amps with Rail-to-Rail outputs packaged in SC70-5, SOT23-5, and SOT23-8 packages. These devices operate from a single +2.7V to +5.25V supply and consume only 620µA of supply current per amplifier. Along with an excellent speed-to-power ratio of 323MHz/mA, these devices feature a slew rate of 240V/µs. The combination of high speed, ultra-low power, and miniature packaging makes these amplifiers ideal for space-limited low-power/low-voltage high-speed portable communications and instrumentation.

The MAX4452/MAX4453/MAX4454 single/dual/quad op amps are unity gain stable and achieve a 200MHz -3dB bandwidth. The MAX4352/MAX4353/MAX4354 single/dual/quad op amps are compensated for closed loop gains of +5V/V or greater and achieve an 80MHz -3dB bandwidth. These devices exhibit an input common-mode voltage range extending 100mV below ground and within 1.5V of the positive supply rail with excellent common-mode rejection (60dB min). A Rail-to-Rail output structure swings to within 180mV of either power-supply rail with a 1-kilohm load and achieves a low -83dBc SFDR at 1MHz.

The MAX4452/MAX4352 single amplifiers come in ultra-small 5-pin SC70 and SOT23 packages. The MAX4453/MAX4353 dual amplifiers are available in space-saving 8-pin SOT23 and SOIC packages, while the MAX4454/MAX4354 quad amplifiers come in 14-pin TSSOP and SOIC packages. All devices are specified over the extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C). Prices for the MAX4452/MAX4453 start at $0.78 (1000-up, factory direct, FOB USA).
