DS1841은 7비트 로그, 비휘발성 (NV) 디지털 저항으로 온도 센서 및 관련 ADC(analog-to-digital converter)가 내장되어 있다. 내장된 온도 센서는 -40°C ~ +100°C 범위에서 동작하며 72바이트 NV 룩업 테이블(LUT)을 인덱싱한다.
