DS8007 EV 킷(EV kit)은 성능이 검증된 플랫폼으로 DS8007 스마트 카드 인터페이스 칩 성능 평가를 쉽게 한다. 이 EV 킷에는 스마트 카드 인터페이스를 제어하기 위해 DS5002FP 보안 마이크로컨트롤러가 포함되어 있다. 2개의 카드 소켓(풀 사이즈 1개, SIM 사이즈 1개)이 포함되어 있어 1.8V, 3V 또는 5V IC 카드와 모두 통신할 수 있다. LCD 화면은 프로그램 동작에 대한 세부 피드백을 제공하여 애플리케이션 디버깅을 돕는다.
