MAX3634 버스트 모드 CPA (clock phase aligner)는 622Mbps 또는 1244Mbps GPON (ITU G.984) OLT (optical line terminal) 수신기 애플리케이션을 위해 특별히 설계되었다. MAX3634는 차동 LVPECL 출력을 통해 클록 및 클록 정렬 재동기화 업스트림 데이터를 제공한다. 기준으로 OLT 시스템 클록을 사용하는 MAX3634는 버스트의 첫 번째 13비트 안에서 입력 데이터에 정렬되어 수집한다. CPA는 OLT 기준에 주파수가 동기되는 수신된 데이터로 동작한다. 수집 시간(acquisition time), 비트 에러율 및 지터 허용오차는 모두 GPON PMD 규격을 지원한다. LVPECL 고속 클록 및 데이터 출력은 622Mbps에서 FPGA 및 1244Mbps에서 MAX3885 디시리얼라이저(deserializer)에 대한 호환을 제공한다.
MAX3634는 로우 프로파일, 7mm x 7mm, 48리드 TQFN 패키지로 제공된다. MAX3634는 +3.3V의 단일 전원, -40°C ~ +85°C 온도 범위에서 동작한다.
