제로가 되지않음(Non Return to Zero). 이진수 암호화 체계. 1과 0이 반대 및 교차로 하이 또는 로우 전압으로 표현되며 암호화된 비트 사이에는 0(기준전압)으로 복귀하는 경우가 없다. 이 스트림은 로우와 하이의 두 가지 값만을 갖는다.
