Definition

구내 정보 통신망(Local Area Network). 컴퓨터 네트워크이며 통상 한 건물 내에 위치하고, 컴퓨터, 파일 및 메일 서버, 저장장치, 주변기기 및 기타 장치들이 연결되어 데이터 상호 교환, 자원 공유 등이 허용된다. Ethernet 및 WiFi(802.11)가 가장 흔한 예이다.
