Benefits of the DS75 over the AD7416:
- 9-12 bit temperature measurement resolution. AD7416 has 10-bit resolution only.
- Can measure temperature in increments as low as 0.0625°C. AD7416 as low as 0.25°C.
- Accuracy better at low voltages, ±2°C from 2.7V to 3.0V. AD7616 accuracy is ±3°C from 2.7V to 3.0V.
Benefits of the AD7416 over the DS75:
- AD7616 has faster temperature update rate of 400µs. DS75 update rate for 10 bits is 300ms.
