Benefits of the MAX174 over the AD1674:
- Lower Power: The MAX174 is manufactured on a BiCMOS process, which reduces power consumption (150mW vs. 385mW) 2.5 times over the AD1674
- Low Drift Reference: A precision buried Zener reference provides low drift (10ppm/°C vs. 15ppm/°C) and low-noise performance
- Speed: The MAX174 has a 125ksps conversion rate compared to AD1674's 100ksps conversion rate
