MAX9982는 완전 통합 SiGe 믹서로 GSM850, GSM900 및 CDMA850 기지국 리시버의 요구사항을 충족시키도록 최적화되어 있다. 각각의 고선형 디바이스는 국부 오실레이터(LO) 스위치, LO 드라이버 및 액티브 믹서가 장착되어 있다. 온칩 밸룬(balun) 또한 내장되어 단일 신호방식의 RF 및 LO 입력이 가능하다. 이 액티브 믹서 제품은 변환 이득이 2dB이므로 대부분의 수동 믹서 구현을 따르는 IF 앰프 단계를 대체할 수 있다.
MAX9982는 선형도가 뛰어나며, +26dBm 이상의 입력 IP3이 특징이다. 통합 LO 드라이버를 통해 LO 드라이브 레벨 범위가 -5dBm~+5dBm으로 넓어졌다. 뿐만 아니라 LO 선택 시간이 빌트인 스위치를 이용해 250ns 미만으로 매우 짧기 때문에 GSM 주파수 도약 어플리케이션에 이상적으로 쓰일 수 있다.
MAX9982는 노출 패들의 20핀 QFN 패키지(5mm x 5mm)로 제공되며, 사용 온도 범위는 -40°C~+85°C로 확대되었다.
