MAX2058 고선형, 디지털 가변 이득 증폭기(DVGA)는 총 62dB의 이득 범위를 가지며, 통상 +32.3dBm의 출력 IP3과 +19dBm의 출력 P1dB 성능을 구현하도록 설계되었다. 이 소자는 단일 및 다중 반송파 700MHz ~ 1200MHz GSM/EDGE, cdma2000®, WCDMA, iDEN® 기지국을 포함하여 RFID 핸드헬드 및 포털 리더 (reader) 등 다양한 애플리케이션에 이상적이다. MAX2058은 5비트의 31dB 디지털 감쇄기 2개, 2단 드라이버 증폭기 1개, 루프백 믹서 및 감쇄기를 제어하는 직렬 인터페이스가 내장되어 부품 집적도도 매우 높다.
MAX2058은 MAX2059 1800MHz ~ 2200MHz DVGA와 핀 호환되므로 양쪽 주파수 대역에 모두 공통 PCB 레이아웃이 사용되는 애플리케이션에서 간편하게 디자인 인(design-in)될 수 있다.
MAX2058은 노출 패드형의 40핀 TQFN 패키지로 제공되며, -40°C ~ +85°C의 넓은 온도 범위에서 동작한다.
