MAX1455는 집적도가 높은 자동차 아날로그 센서 신호 프로세서로 저항체 센서에 사용된다.
MAX1455는 증폭, 측정 및 온도 보상 기능을 제공함으로써 센서 고유의 반복성에 대해 전체적으로 고성능을 유지할 수 있도록 했다. 아날로그 신호 경로는 출력 신호에서 어떠한 양자화 잡음도 발생시키지 않으면서, 통합 16비트 DAC를 이용한 디지털 제어 트리밍을 할 수 있게 해준다. 오프셋 및 스팬 또한 16비트 DAC를 이용해 측정되고, 센서 제품이 완전 호환될 수 있도록 한다.
MAX1455 아키텍처는 프로그래머블 센서 여기(excitation)를 비롯해 16스텝 프로그래머블 게인 증폭기(PGA), 768바이트(6144비트) 내장 EEPROM, 4개의 16비트 DAC, 중립 연산증폭기, 온칩 온도 센서 등을 포함하고 있다. 오프셋 및 스팬 보상 외에도 MAX1455는 독특한 온도 보상 전략을 제공한다. 따라서 테스팅 비용은 줄이면서 상당한 유연성을 제공할 수 있다.
